Sesame is a completely independent sole tradership run by myself (Robert Mercer), with a little help from my family, from a small holding in the heart of the Norfolk countryside. It is something that I love doing and certainly isn't just work for me (although it is quite hard work). I always enjoy meeting new customers and welcome feedback on our service and suggestions for improvement. I hope you enjoy browsing our online store and find what you are looking for. Products

Sesame has a wide selection of wholefoods as well as ethically sound household cleaning and personal care items (over 1200 products). We are always on the lookout for new, worthwhile and interesting products to add to the already healthy choice. This will also include a range of delicious locally sourced products.

We are always interested in finding out about new products so please contact us if you make or know of anything you think might be of interest to us or would like to be available through ourselves.

Local Produce and Economy

Having been born in Norfolk, I have a passion for locally produced fare. Selling locally produced goods is probably the biggest change I will be making to Sesame and the one that I am most excited about.

Thus we will be tirelessly tracking down the best that East Anglia has to offer from the vast selection of top quality local produce available. Everything from soap to sausages and eggs to ice cream.

Keep your ears pricked up and your eyes on the site and I'll let you all know as soon these products become available. It may be sooner than you think!

Ethics and the Environment

I enjoy world we live in and the Flora and Fauna that we share it with. We hope that future generations will be able to enjoy it too and we do our best to help ensure that this is the case.

Hence, in everything we do, we make every realistic attempt not to harm the environment.

What Comes In

All the paper that we use, from business cards to the kitchen roll we mop up our spilt coffee with, is either from managed and renewable resources or has been recycled.

The vans that we use to deliver your goods and pick up supplies run on Bio-Diesel made from used rapeseed oil. This is much less harmful to the environment both in supply of raw materials/production and emissions when compared to traditional fossil fuels and Bio-Fuels using oil from dedicated crops.

All of our suppliers are chosen with careful consideration given to their views and practices in relation to the environment and ethics and we strive to only be affiliated with likeminded businesses.
